WELCOMING PLACE is a cozy apartment with high ceilings, designed for hosting family events, business meetings, and accommodating guests.
The client acquired this apartment with one purpose in mind — to create the perfect space for hosting guests.
Their primary residence, located in the same building, lacked the capacity for frequent, comfortable gatherings, while hospitality remains at the heart of their lifestyle.
The challenge was to design an interior that effortlessly balances the elegance and scale needed for entertaining with the functionality and comfort of a fully livable home.
Originally, this 100 m² apartment was a single-level space with small, confined rooms, while the 5-meter ceilings created a “well-like” effect.
The layout needed to be reimagined to unlock the full potential of the space.
After reconstruction, the larger portion of the apartment was transformed into a living area with a dining space, TV, and lounge zone. In the remaining area, a second level was added, housing the kitchen, a bedroom with an office, and a bathroom.
The new layout seamlessly blends residential and social spaces, making the apartment equally suited for everyday living and hosting events.
The result is a functional, stylish interior, perfectly designed for warm gatherings with family and friends.

The living room features furniture and lighting from renowned Italian brands, but the standout piece is a custom marble sideboard, crafted as a one-of-a-kind creation exclusively for the WELCOMING PLACE project.
Particular attention has been given to ease of access: the apartment features two entrances—one from the building’s lobby overlooking the private courtyard, and another with direct access from the private parking area. This thoughtful design highlights both functionality and a seamless connection to the surrounding environment.
The apartment’s upper level houses a private space thoughtfully designed to envelop its occupants in warmth and tranquility.
Every detail, from linen-upholstered wall panels to meticulously curated decor, contributes to an atmosphere of softness and serenity.
Natural textures and subtle tones create an inviting ambiance, designed to make each moment spent here feel restful and deeply comforting.
This carefully balanced interior offers a sense of calm sophistication, transforming everyday life into moments of quiet luxury.
As in many of our projects, natural stone served as a key inspiration here. Beyond the custom-designed sideboard and sink, we also created decorative marble panels with varied milling patterns to accent the bathroom walls.
This artisanal treatment highlights the stone’s organic beauty and natural origins, transforming the space into more than just a bathroom—it becomes a spa-like retreat, infused with tranquility and relaxation.
